A lot of my bride’s to be have booked in to have a snap that smile booth. Its where the guest get to have loads of fun and you get great memories of your guests and keepsakes for them. In keeping with the vintage simplistic and beautiful theme of Robyn and Simon’s wedding we kept our props simple and rustic and a message or two for the bride and groom and left the rest up to the creativity of the guests… Here are just a few!

There is something extra special about photographing the wedding of someone you know. When you get to witness their story unfold it makes their day all the more special. My knockout of a bride Robyn and I first in year eleven English so you could say I have known her for a while. She is a gorgeous woman inside and out and over the years had grown into a remarkable woman of faith. So it is no surprise that the man who was to capture this woman’s heart was going to be one pretty great guy himself. When “Simono” first contacted Robyn I don’t think he had a clue just how lucky he was going to be for the rest of his life…
There was chemistry between these two and love quickly followed. After many emails, what I would imagine were huge phone bills, lots of plane trips from Melbourne to Adelaide and a proposal all the plans for the big day started to be made… The day was stunning and the venue nestled in Houghton in the Adelaide Hills, Glen Ewin Estate was the perfect location for this simple and exquisite wedding.
The love between these two was tangible and you could tell that they were a match perfectly selected for each other, not only by the compatibility tests of a certain dating site but also by the hand of God.
As I have mentioned many many times before I just adore photoshoots with kids, especially when we go on an adventure (a location shoot) together. This gorgeous Autunm morning took us up to a gorgeous gem in the foothills, Houghton Hollow. It was a picture perfect backdrop to these two ridiculously cute kids! I could have shown you so many more photos as the combination of the location and these animated models meant that I got so many great shots. So I have selected a few of my personal favourites… After all this is a sneak peek so I want mum and dad to get a few more suprises when they get their photos!
I think this is one of my all time fav kids shoots and shows off the type of kids photography I love the most… Fun Location Shoots. I’m inspired to do more so let me know if your kiddies are up for it!
Growing Up I used to spend many weekends along the banks of the Murray River. Our family would go and enjoy this jewel of Australian and it filled so many memories for my family. For Kimberly and Simon this river has become just the same. When I met Kim she told me how every Sunday afternoon her family would wander down to Mannum and enjoy this gorgeous little spot. So it just makes sense that this would be the backdrop for their wedding. Kim looked truly stunning and Simon scrubbed up pretty well too! I had so much fun and loved the spontaneity of the bridal party… It made for an adventure and some great shots!
