On the seventh day of Christmas Carly showed to me seven peach peonies , six feet of air, five months of waiting, four tiers of joy, three timeless kisses, two twins cuddling and a ready made family.

I adored everything about Rose and Michael’s wedding! It was so personal and every detail had meaning behind it. From the date inscribed in Michael’s wedding band to match the one Rose got him when they first started dating, to the antique locket he had delivered to her that morning, to Rose’s mums favourite truffles and personalised cufflinks for dad. The bouquet of peonies were freshly bloomed the first of the season and looked divine!

As Rose walked down the isle the sun shone and there was a tear or two as these two said their I Do’s. The day was picture perfect and as you can tell by the many many many shots my camera and I had a lot of fun photographing this truly special wedding.

    Enjoy,

    Carly xoxo

On the sixth day of Christmas Carly showed to me six feet of air, five months of waiting, four tiers of utopia, three timeless kisses, two twins cuddling and a ready made family.

I first met Amelia at her very own photo shoot earlier this year. She is truly such a cutie and had me won over in seconds with her animated personality and facial expressions. This time she thought she would get the family along for a few pictures and once again she was a delight to shoot. Enjoy the smiles of this little family shoot.

On the sixth day of Christmas Carly showed to me five months of waiting, four tiers of utopia, three timeless kisses, two twins cuddling and a ready made family.

The five month of waiting in this blog is two fold I will admit it was mostly the long wait I endured not being able to show these photos to you. It was also the time these two were engaged for. Sara and Matt are two dear friends. I adore them both and very much encouraged these two and their gorgeous romance. They have such a love for each other that it is infectious. They are two of the most thoughtful, generous and adventurous people I know. Personally I think Sara is pretty close to the perfect woman, she is smart, can literally save your life, is truly stunning inside and out, loves being barefoot and sleeping under the stars. We were wondering just who God had in store for this fire twirling princess but when the spear fishing, adventure seeking, God loving Matt set eyes on her it was all over! He wooed his woman, courted her, proposed and after a five months engagement they wed.

For their engagement shoot we wanted to capture them in their fun loving, playful and whimsical glory {and I think we did} It was an absolute blast and the photos truly speak for themselves.

This blog is to show off some gorgeous pics but mostly to celebrate the gift it is when you find that one that you know you were made for.

Enjoy these pics and cherish your special someone.

On the fourth day of Christmas Carly showed to me four tiers of utopia, three timeless kisses, two twins cuddling and a ready made family.

Lisa and Jamie’s wedding was an online success… Why do I say this? Well this fantastic couple are not from Adelaide and yet with Lisa’s amazing creative ideas, the internet and a lot of hard work this gorgeous wedding was pulled off. Set in the oh so stunning Utopia @ Waterfall Gully this wedding was a blinging success. The details were to die for and the cake that was just gorgeous was also sampled by me and Lilah their gorgeous daughter and was delicious! The entire day was bliss, starting with friends and family time, an epic one hour trip to get burgers, running through railway stations, Lilah performing up a storm… The camera LOVES her!

Then came the most special moment of all when Lisa walked down the Ilse met her love, held his hands (as Lilah snuggled in) and they said I Do. We Danced, enjoyed a balmy evening, laughed and ended at the foot of the falls where these two looked truly stunning and euphorically happy!

Hope you enjoy this wedding which was truly intimate and a gorgeous family affair that I was honoured to share in.

On the third day of Christmas Carly showed to me three timeless kisses, two twins cuddling and a ready made family.

Deanna and Paul’s wedding was an absolute blast and if you remember me posting on facebook about finding my perfect wedding location if I ever tie the knot, well it looks like this. Held at Deanna’s childhood home in Houghton you couldn’t ask for a more picture perfect location. Deanna’s parents had been working hard to get everything together, even converting the old dairy into a place the girls could get ready. One the day it looked divine, with flowers aplenty, lolly buffets, mason jars hanging in trees, the coolest guys toilet ever and even a turkey (the real gobble gobble kind). The sun was shining, people sipping on ciders and such a fun relaxed atmosphere.

Nothing could stop this day from being perfect and that it was. Deanna and Paul smiled away, the bridal party laughed and kept me laughing and it only got better as the night went on.

This wedding reminds me that some of the best memories are made at home and the people you invite into it should be treasured.I hope you enjoy this gorgeous day.
