Last week I had the pleasure of meeting up with Catherine and George at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. It is the setting for their upcoming wedding which I am totally excited about shooting. We chatted over wedding details and life and George and I chatted footy before heading out to take a few engagement shots around the gardens. You will be seeing more of this stunning couple very soon.

There was no better way to kick off my 2013 season than with this gorgeous little wedding at McLaren Vale’s Current Shed. Not only did it look divine with lime themed decor to the love birds nestled into the vines. It was also the wedding of a family friend so I was in great company all day.

Sarah looked absolutely stunning in her dress and Mark simply beamed when he saw his bride. It was a day of emotion where the depth of love and the value of family was cherished. Little sentiments like the horse shoe broach Sarah wore that was given to her grandmother by her grandfather for their wedding brought a tear to my eye. This day was about honouring the life that was lived as well as Mark and Sarah embarking on a new life together as husband and wife.

    Hope you enjoy

I knew from the beginning that I was going to LOVE Sarah’s wedding and as the Pinterest boards started filling up I got even more excited. This wedding was from the heart with gorgeous detail, a backdrop to take your breath away, a venue that not only looks stunning but has staff that go above and beyond to make your day special, a dog with personality, kids with cheeky grins and a bride and groom with a great sense of humor.

It was so easy to snap away as the night rolled on and the laughs kept coming. This truly was one of the most fun weddings I have had lately. I couldn’t stop smiling and neither could the happy couple.

Hope you enjoy just a taste of this Long View Winery Wedding

I was so excited to have the opportunity to photograph my  favourite family. I knew it would have some challenges (mostly in the form of a bubbly constantly moving two year old commonly known as Charlie) but with this family I knew it would be a real laugh.

Jenny and I headed up to Houghton to get some gorgeous maternity shots and the family came to meet us for a frolic in the field as I snapped away. My snapping was very quick and there was lots of running involved to keep up with Charlie but as usual Grace dazzled with her smile and gorgeous blue eyes and Jenny looked stunning, can you believe she is eight months pregnant!

For those of you who know this amazing family I think these photos here are pretty accurate to what they are like…. Fun, playful, beautiful, funny, affectionate and full of love.

Enjoy these photos and I can guarantee there will probably be some more pics featuring these two little ones and their new baby brother or sister very soon.

    Since 2013

Style: I take detailed photos, I like to capture the small moments in life that would otherwise go un-noticed

Why I do what I do: I just love taking a great picture and being able to look at it and remember the day I took it. I hope in fifty year when the people I shoot for look at their photos they think “Yeah, that’s just what our wedding day felt like.”

    A little about me:

I have sometimes been referred to as a bottomless pit, because I eat WAY more food than my body should be able to contain.

Having an instagramable life is a goal of mine.

I love playing and writing music.

I have an extensive pea coat collection.
