Category Archives: 12 days of Christmas

On the third day of Christmas my true love gave to me three white flowers, two pink flamingos and a macaroon wedding tree.

I was all set to show you a wedding blog today but after a walk along the beach with my bestie and a baby shower I was feeling all warm and fuzzy and thought I would share some sun kissed shots from Mel’s recent maternity shoot. I took inspiration from the three white flowers in her head band and put together a delightful little blog of a little baby who we cant wait to meet.

    Enjoy,

    Carly

On the 12th day of Christmas my true love gave to me twelve cute kids, eleven years of love, ten timeless moments, nine holes of golf, eight sparkling sparklers, seven sweet touches, six sangrias, five reason to smile, four spinning wheels, three white flowers, two pink flamingos and a macaroon wedding tree.

Its Christmas Eve, I would say its the day before my most favourite day of the year but it isnt. I think Christmas Eve is just as special. Its become a tradition to me. I get to see cute kids dressed up as sheep, mc hammer look alikes or beautiful angels and put on a darling show. After which friends come round for a drink and a laugh before we usher in Christmas with a Jazz Carol or two. Its such a beautiful night spend with family and friends and I adore it.

So as I edit the finishing touches to more of these cute videos for tonights show I though I would share the outtakes we put together. So if you are looking for something wonderful to do with your Christmas Eve come along and say hi, we would love to see you there.

As the very cute girl at the end says.

    Have a good Christmas.

Enjoy it with someone you love.

On the 11th day of Christmas my true love gave to me eleven years of love, ten timeless moments, nine holes of golf, eight sparkling sparklers, seven sweet touches, six sangrias, five reason to smile, four spinning wheels, three white flowers, two pink flamingos and a macaroon wedding tree.

After eleven years of dating, friendship, journeying together in the highs and lows of life these two were lead here. To this their wedding day. It was a day that Teegan had dreamed of. The day she married her high school sweet heart. She was so overjoyed that in the morning she even needed a moment just to take it all in. She looked radiant as she wed Matt and these wine barrel room photos are just picture perfect. I had such a fun day celebrating with these two, having Aaron along to shoot with me for the first time and capturing all the fun of the day, especially the girl who caught the bouquet!

On the 10th day of Christmas my true love gave to me ten timeless moments, nine holes of golf, eight sparkling sparklers, seven sweet touches, six sangrias, five reason to smile, four spinning wheels, three white flowers, two pink flamingos and a macaroon wedding tree.

I am dedicating this blog yo Ryan’s love of everything technologically related. For him an apple a day isn’t a reference to good health but a lovely device to connect with people. He used this love of technology even within his wedding. From the hand crafted steel monogram in their back yard feature to being the only groom I have met to use a QR code to rsvp to their wedding. From modern technology to timeless touches like pocket watches, sewing buttons on shirts, divine David Austin Roses, delicate tulle and a intimate cellar to host their ceremony. This wedding was a delight to the eyes and a delight to the heart. It was a pleasure to take photos of this bridal party and to shot you these photos.

    Hope you Enjoy

On the 9th day of Christmas my true love gave to me nine holes of golf, eight sparkling sparklers, seven sweet touches, six sangrias, five reason to smile, four spinning wheels, three white flowers, two pink flamingos and a macaroon wedding tree.

I have never been so anxious writing a blog. It has nothing to do with this wonderful couple and 100% to do with Lincoln’s profession. You see I have been told I write like I talk, fast and furious. I am hopeless with anything resembling grammar, punctuation and writing a full sentence without using too many adjectives is almost impossible. I don’t think before I write I just mentally blurt everything out and hope my finger can keep up. I am a literary lovers nightmare, I’m ok with this I make up for it with the pretty pictures but Lincoln you see is a journalist. I can picture it now his hordes for readers and all his colleagues will read this and cringe. I am seriously contemplating getting it proof read by the word loving people in my life but its 4pm and 36 degrees on a Friday and I have a pool to jump into so I’m going to take the plunge tell you about this Ah-mazing wedding and ask for your literary forgiveness.

The day started just as I had hoped being bowled over by a dog twice my size. It was out of love and I adore Jazz’s cuddles so I quickly forgave her. Lochie my 6’2 assistant hid inside away from these giant dogs as little me and Lincoln had a little photo shoot with these adorable four legged friends. From there I met the girls who were all smiles, Alison was getting her make up done and was glowing. Her dress was a tulle wonderland that shone in photos almost as much as she herself did. After some fun photos at Belair train station with hit the greens at Belair Park Country Club for a hole or two before dancing the night away. Lochie had recovered from the fright of getting dog hair on his chinos and was having a ball with all the guests at the reception. As they said their goodbyes Lincoln popped a bottle of Champagne to keep the celebrations going  as Lochie and I slipped away. We had grins from ear to ear and felt blessed to be able to be a part of such a wonderful couples wedding.

    Enjoy
