Shasta + Chris

On the 6th day of Christmas my true love gave to me six sangria’s, five reason to smile, four spinning wheels, three white flowers, two pink flamingos and a macaroon wedding tree.

This post was almost going to be called six spinning stars but I thought that Bella Cosa where we stopped for photos and some of infamous sangria deserved the title spot, and lets face it after shooting for most of the day with a concussion I was seeing stars and felt like I had had about 10 sangria’s. Even the cartoon scene of spinning yellow stars that I was seeing all day could not stop me from doing all I could to capture the beauty and fun of Chris + Shasta’s wedding and some shots of their gorgeous little girl Zali.

Between playing in forests, frolicking in vines and getting foot loose and fancy free on the dance floor I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing day to photograph and am thrilled to share it with you.

Hope you Enjoy,

Carly xoxo

Mark + Sarah

There was no better way to kick off my 2013 season than with this gorgeous little wedding at McLaren Vale’s Current Shed. Not only did it look divine with lime themed decor to the love birds nestled into the vines. It was also the wedding of a family friend so I was in great company all day.

Sarah looked absolutely stunning in her dress and Mark simply beamed when he saw his bride. It was a day of emotion where the depth of love and the value of family was cherished. Little sentiments like the horse shoe broach Sarah wore that was given to her grandmother by her grandfather for their wedding brought a tear to my eye. This day was about honouring the life that was lived as well as Mark and Sarah embarking on a new life together as husband and wife.

Hope you enjoy

Kirsty + Shannon

What you are about to see is serious photo overload…. There are lots! I struggled to cut them down to this many as there was easily another 50 I could have shared with you. I blame Shannon and Kirsty for being so funny and photogenic. There wedding was such a laugh and the entire bridal party knew how to strike a pose or twenty! With these two in the pictures and the backdrop of Oliver’s Chaff Shed in Mclaren Vale, The Victory Hotel, Silver Sands Beach and Port Willunga beach you couldn’t go wrong. We also stopped off at Oscar’s where Shannon popped the question to grab a few quick photos.

The entire day was a blast, Kirsty and Shannon chose a perfect location for a fun affair and the Pizza was delish!

I’m going to keep the writing short today as these photos speak for themselves, hope you enjoy them.

Carly xoxo

Alexis + Tom {a wedding story}

Anyone who knows me knows I have an eclectic style. I recently just turned an old oak door into an outdoor table purely as it was a quirky cute idea that adds a nice touch to my bright coloured back garden. So when I knew that Alexis and Tom’s wedding would involve B&B’s and wineries at McLaren Vale as well as one of my favourite beaches to shoot, Port Willunga, I was a truly happy girl. When I arrived I was only more impressed, Black Rabbit B&B provided a picture everywhere you could look and so did this gorgeous bride and her bridesmaids who know how to have a good time.

Alexis’ dress hung in the window, makeup was being done and an impromptu photo shoot in the bathroom made for amazing photos that only got better as the day went on. I think that’s just like these two, they are fun, spontaneous and up for a great laugh and love their friends and family and most of all each other.  In my opinion these make the best kinds of photos as it reflects these two and the people they love as they know and love them. So enjoy,

Carly xoxo
