Neill + Kym {on the ninth day of Christmas}

On the ninth day of Christmas Carly Showed to me nine carriages swaying, eight smiling faces, seven peach peonies, six feet of air, five months of waiting, four tiers of utopia, three timeless kisses, two twins cuddling and a ready made family.

Kym and Neill’s wedding was a beach side  treat. The weather was gorgeous (minus a bit of wind that almost sent us flying during the bridal party shoot). All the details were truly stunning and the pink ombre cake was divine! The photos were an absolute blast with lots of laughter and so many great shots. Jai and Kane truly won me over with their gorgeous little outfits and cheeky grins!

As a kiss was share, rings were given we continued on the night by dancing while the sun set and even took a ride on the ferris wheel. Ever since I took these shots I have had this quote in my mind.

“Love doesn’t make the world go round, but it makes the ride worthwhile” – Franklin P Jones.

May your ride always bring laughter, love and joy!

Enjoy, Carly

Rose + Michael {on the seventh day of Christmas}

On the seventh day of Christmas Carly showed to me seven peach peonies , six feet of air, five months of waiting, four tiers of joy, three timeless kisses, two twins cuddling and a ready made family.

I adored everything about Rose and Michael’s wedding! It was so personal and every detail had meaning behind it. From the date inscribed in Michael’s wedding band to match the one Rose got him when they first started dating, to the antique locket he had delivered to her that morning, to Rose’s mums favourite truffles and personalised cufflinks for dad. The bouquet of peonies were freshly bloomed the first of the season and looked divine!

As Rose walked down the isle the sun shone and there was a tear or two as these two said their I Do’s. The day was picture perfect and as you can tell by the many many many shots my camera and I had a lot of fun photographing this truly special wedding.

Enjoy,

Carly xoxo

Sally + Matt

It’s that time of the year again where days all warp together, I run around and feel entirely scatterbrained and spend many a night out and about with my gorgeous brides and brides to be instead of curling up on the couch with a cup of french earl grey and playing with my pup. Yes its wedding season and I have not stopped. Not even had a spare second to post anything on here. Thankfully I found a second today to pop these up as I have been dying to show you Sally + Matt’s special day at Bird In Hand Winery.

The entire day put a smile on my face! It had gorgeous knee length dresses by Rapsimo Bridal, flowers that I recognised as soon as I opened the box as the handy work of Fabulous Functions, lots of laughs, macaroons, cake that was the yummiest I have had in a long time from How Sweet It Is, and all set in a perfect setting.

You could tell how in love Matt and Sally are and it was reflected in their wonderful day that was a true joy to be part of… Enjoy xox
