Verity + Tom

On the 2nd day of Christmas my true love gave to me two pink flamingos and a macaroon wedding tree.

It’s 6am and as the sun rises and the birds chirp I am awake and bursting at the seams to show you Tom + Verity’s wedding that was held at their farm. Held in their converted wood shed and set into a backdrop of rolling hills and glistening pink and yellow fields this wedding was an absolute dream. The detail gave Lochie and I hours of fun to photograph and so did kids who played merrily on hay bails and amongst the trees. Everywhere you looked there was a detail to admire, a view to take in or an expression to capture. It was my kind of wedding, in fact its probably the closest wedding that I have attended or photographed to what I would do on my big day, and yes I may be taking an idea or twenty from you guys.

This wedding truly captured the love these two have for each other and those who attended. Everyone who was invited was also involved, from making flower wreaths for the girls to wear in their hair, everyone who camped out for the weekend, to all the musicians and bands being friends of the couple (special mention to the ukulele group, you girls were a hit). You could feel the love on this land and that this day was about a celebration of two people who open their arms wide, invest themselves and love deeply.

From the stroll to the top of the hill to the ceremony and the bride and groom arriving on a tractor to bands playing on the back of a pick up truck while friends laughed around bon fires every moment of this day had soul and was a dream to be part of… So forgive this very long blog post I couldn’t  choose between all the photos!

Enjoy,

Carly xoxo

Irene + Pete

It’s been a long time since I have posted some gorgeous wedding goodness on here. The past few months have been a lovely and sometimes relaxing whirlwind where I have had some surgery, traveled to the stunning Cook Islands to photograph a wedding, had a little mini break in Daylesford Victoria and been drinking cups of tea while catching up with friends, family and my wonderful couples. This isnt even mentioning all the exciting new ventures that I will be mentioning in the next few months.

So today I decided today was the day I start to post all the autumn/winter weddings for you all to see and I couldn’t think of a better way to start my first post in a long time than by showing you my last autumn wedding of the season.

Irene and Pete’s wedding was set amongst the beautiful vines of Middlebrook Estate and when I arrived there in the morning Irene was there, hair and make up done, setting up what was the most delicious dessert bar I had ever seen. The table center pieces were exquisite with flowers from The White Orchid. Irene’s attention to detail and little touches set the scene to what was to be a romantic intimate affair with a lot of fun.

In a beautiful custom made lace gown by Betrothed Irene walked down the Isle to her man Pete, they smiled, shared vows, a kiss and a hug. They signed and made it official and then the fun began. For me it was taking all these photos of this very in love couple, for everyone it was the amazing reception as we danced the night away and enjoyed a macaroon or three!

I hope you enjoy this gorgeous wedding.

Nicole + Declan

What I am about to show you will sweep you off your feet! This gorgeous wedding adorned with David Austin roses, Dahlia’s, hessian and mason jars, gorgeous jeweled bling, yellow Kombi vans, Irish Accents, a stunning bustier corset Karen Willis Holmes dress was not only one of the most fun weddings I have had the pleasure to shoot in a long time it also holds the record as the windiest wedding I have ever shot!

Even as the wind was blowing her backwards down the isle nothing could keep Nicole from coming to say I Do to Declan her Irish bo! Laughter filled the air as there was a reading or two and the fun continued as we took advantage of the weather conditions and Nicole’s gorgeous dress to get some of my favourite bridal party shots.

As the sun set the party was only beginning to celebrate what was truly a precious day.

Hope you enjoy.

Nicola + Dan

Dan and Nicola’s wedding was an absolute joy to photograph. From when we rocked up to Tempest to get some shots of the girl getting their hair and make up done we were in creative overload. We meaning myself and my assistant Lochie who came along to capture the detail and candid moments of the day. Nicola’s custom made dress was an absolute knockout as were the bridesmaids in brilliant blue.

Golding’s winery was the perfect backdrop to this heartfelt ceremony that incorporated Nicola’s Jewish heritage. From the I do’s we escaped to the vines for some photos before dancing the night away in what was a truly beautiful day.

I hope you enjoy,

Kimberley + Darren

I apologise in advance for the overload of cute little children with pretty posies, beautiful blooms in brown mason jars, candles floating in mid air, polishing cars and playful pups, laughs and giggles by loved ones and a bride and groom that lit up my camera.

Kimberley and Darren’s had all these things and more! The day teed off with me getting a few golfing and car maintinence tips from the groom and his best men and I got to play with Indie the couples gorgeous little pup. It got even better as I headed over to the girls where there was nothing but smiles and laughter. The ceremony was divine and if I wasnt snapping the bride and groom gazing into each others eyes I was snapping the kids who were to cute not to photograph.

The couples reception at Golding’s Winery was one of the prettiest I have ever seen. I was in love with the details that were so creatively though out and painstakingly put together (hanging all those candles took some effort by some amazing bridesmaids and family).

The entire day was a treat and one I am happy to share with you. Enjoy,

Carly xoxo
